Default JSB HEAVY VS. CROSMAN ULTRA MAG

I FRIEND AND I WENT PEST CONTROLING LAST NIGHT AND I FOUND THAT JSB HEAVY PELLETS DOES NOT HAVE THE KNOCKDOWN POWER THAT THE CROSMAN ULTRA MAG HAVE , I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS JUST MY IMAGINATION BUT THE HW100T AND MY FX DID THE SAME WITH THE PELLETS .

ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS ABOUT THIS. THEY ARE ALMOST THE WEIGHT AND BUILT ????

I doubt there is any difference in terms of retained energy and knockdown power...was probably just circumstantial...

Well I really like the Magnums. As I mentioned earlier I swore by them untill I dicovered JSB's. The Magnums are .3g heavier than die JSB's (the way I have it), so it may in theory have a little bit more knockdown power at short range.

The JSB's are without a doubt more accurate and since they have a much better BC they should retain more energy over longer distances and thus result in having more knockdown power over longer distances than the Magnums...

I agree with Vergund. Ultra Magnums seem to retain energy better than JSB's. I prefer the JSB's because they are more accurate (less fliers) and not as dirty.
