I just got a new Nikko Stirling Nighteater scope 8-32 x60 IR. Wanted to mount it on my CZ200. Took of the old scope and put on the Nighteater with Nikko Stirling high mounts. The fit is fine but trying to sight the scope is where my trouble starts. It still shoots way too low at 20m - the distance I'm trying to get it zeroed. If I say way to low its 20cm and this is with the elevation wound up all the way.It also sits so close but not touching the barrel that I cannot fit the Sun shade.
Questions: How do I correct the problem of zeroeing the scope? And secondly, Do you get higher scope mounts than these? Will higher scope mounts not increase my first problem?
Mounting scopes is totally new to me and I was really let down when something like this happened! Wanted to shoot my new scope , was so sure I would shoot better now I can't shoot at all!
