    Default Weihrauch's automatic safety

This is the only single thing I hate about Weihrauch rifles.
I don't walk around with a loaded rifle. When I load it, I shoot.
What I simply hate is the fact that You see the crow sitting there, you line him up, pull the trigger.... NOTHING!!!
I cannot get used to this stupid feature!!!! Why can't all rifles work like my Supersport. Point and shoot, no fancy stuff.

So the million dollar question is, can the auto safety be removed ?

should be fairly easy...and I agree with you Farmer

safeties should be user settable, not automatic.

Quite by accident I diacovered that if you bend the right hand ear on the trigger mechanism casing inwards a bit and reassemble with the safety pin in the off position, the auto safety does not work. I.E. no safty catch at all. Would love to see how V-Mach make their resettable safeties for Weirauch. 30 pounds plus postage is a bit steep to find out.

Just a matter of routine, when you close the barrel or lever get into the habit of flicking it off.

As I detest the HW anti-beartrap piece of tinfoil supplied in the HW77/97, it gets removed so I like the safety catch as a small bit of mechanical back up to proper handling.

I like the safety on my HW90. Easy to disengage and reset.
