    Default Metallic Silhouettes

Can anybody give me the official dimensions of the "base plates" for the 1/10th scale air rifle silhouettes that is shot at 20,30,36 and 45 yards.

I have got the drawings of the chicken, pig, turkey and ram and would like to get some made. I need the base plate dimensions however.

    Can anybody help?

Surely the base plate dimensions are not too critical - make them big enough to keep the target standing imo. Did you get it from the link on the silohette target thread?

I think the idea is that if they are too big then the may not fall over

The bigger they are the more difficult it is to make them fall.

I just feel that if I am going to get some made it might as well be the correct size.

my 5c worth is that i suspect these are the ones which should swing!!, if based on the pics which Curt posted - in which case you would just need a frame and spikes coming down from the bottom of the frame.

There is one thing contradicting in that attachment and that is the size of the Ram's base plate.

Arnold.. just realised what a pain it will be to go put them up again after every shot @ 50m maybe you should make them spinners.

JT they are placed in rows of 10. So that is 40 shots. I think after standing and shooting 40 shots I will enjoy the walk.
