    Yes they did, but that was at 14 yards. I am not sure about accuracy at longer distances, where the aerodynamics of the skirt etc will definitely come into play. Maybe one of the guys with more experience could comment?

    boondock, they round balls have no stabalizing in the air, they will never shoot accurate further, ill put my tot on a block for that argument....
    must admit, the penetrations is good though... probably no where near a 10.5 grainer though.

    The two top performers (accuracy) in my Webley Tempest are AA Fields and those Gamo round balls. Go figure. Nothing else will group in less than an inch over 8m's.

    Round ball is not a very efficient projectile, it loses velocity very quickly. The gamo rounds are caliber size not like "BB's" which are 4.40mm. The gamo rounds actually take the rifling to a degree and give fair accuracy over short distance 20/30yrds. Those of you with single shot PCP models experiment with +- 3 to 8 balls. Very good deterant on larger targets out to 80meters (HeHe)

    not trying to sound strange or anything but boondock, u really got strange taste in pellets, u really enjoy testing everything u can!

    hehe..... people used to think exactly the same way when they seen Newton sitting under apple tree for hours and watch how apple drop to ground...
