    Default Custom stock inletting.

Apparently you get something called " Harpuis or bedding " thats a poxy type gel that you pour into the cavity in the stock. You then cover the action and all in glad wrap, and press it into place. Let it dry and remove barreled action from the stock. It should now fit snugly into place. This means that you can use a router with a square bit. Well thats what ive heard. Any pros out there. Can this work. Heres a pic or two.

There are a few guys with PCP's that have bedded their guns.

The real benefit of bedding is only seen in high power rifles though.

The best substance to use is called "Acra Glass". It is what most gunsmiths use to glass bed hunting rifles. It is VERY strong and very stable. Problem is, it is quite expensive and seems hard to find these days, but try your local gunsmith, maybe he can help.
Good luck, the stock does look AWESOME so far ! What wood is it ?

just my 2c. I have heard that you do not want to bed a pcp as it in most cases negatively affects accuracy. You want to rest the rear and the front but not the whole tube..

Shaan you will get better I believe.. those weer made from lowly shutter ply. the cheapest wood on the market. full of voids etc. My one and only stock was made from that. Was for a S3 to see if I could. I will bring it with Saterday. have painted over the wood though. But is certainly is strong in ply form.
