I've got a HW97 with a 3-9 × 50 Hawke Airmax on. It's got a V mach spring kit in and is extremely accurate.
The other day I fitted a smaller scope mount and when sighting in the scope I decided to print a 25 meter air rifle benchrest target off the Internet and give it a go and that's when it happened. I got bitten real hard.
My scope is obviously not strong enough. I'm looking for advice on a lower end good scope. I will not be competing in comps and it's purely for the fun of it. See there's a Nikko Stirling nighteater 8 -34 x44 for sale on this forum but don't know if it's worth the bucks. Any suggestions will be really helpful.
Then I need a good benchrest. See Safari and Outdoor has a couple but don't know what to look for. Any advice here will also be appreciated.
