    Default Should I be worried?

    Good evening guys.

Apon stripping down my rifle (tx200hc), as ill be turning a new tophat and spring guide tomorrow, I have just noticed that my main spring is ever so slightly bent at one end. About 0.5mm or so rise when rolled over a sheet of glass. Can I still use it like this until or if it fails, just replace it? There has been no drop in fpe and is still shooting very well and consistent.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

That "runout" on your mainspring is insignificant , don't worry about it.

It is almost impossible for an air rifle spring to maintain 100 percent "trueness" if it has been used.

    Cheers.
