Good morning, do anyone know what the differences are between the old and new Rudolph 4-16x50 scope. I searched for info on internet but only get pictures and specs of the newer VH model.
Apparently there is a big price difference.
Circa 2012 Hunter (H1 4-16x50mm ) series specs:
Power Objective Tube Field of View Exit Eye Adjustment Weight Length Aperture Diameter at 100m Pupil Relief per click (X) (mm) (mm) (m) (mm) (mm) (MOA) (grs) (mm) 4-16 50 25 9.1 / 2.3 12.5 / 3.1 103 / 75 1 / 4 560 375
In the current model lineup there are only 4-16x50 scopes in the Varmint Hunter (introduced +/- 2015) series. The major differences are; the old H1 series was fixed parallax (100m) and had a 25mm tube. The old Tactical series had a 4-16x56, 30mm tube and side parallax from about 20m>, could be had with the great TS ret which is sadly no more.
Current Specs for the VH 4-16x50:
