No rush from my side.
I spent two hours at O.R.Tambo police yesterday trying to find out what permit is needed. The police like I am scratching their heads as no permit is needed for air rifles or parts.
I then spent an hour at DHL trying to find out what the issue is. It looks like customs does not know the difference between "AIR Rifle" and "Rifle", its only one word "AIR" but air is nothing so the difference is nothing therefore a "rifle" permit is needed.
DHL is now going to write a letter to customs trying to explain this "AIR" part.

There are a few government forms( with many duplicates) you might need to submit with this application, before ANYTHING gets released.
These are forms number r100 and r200.
You see, its not about finding someone who knows whats going on, because they all know this VERY well. Its about finding that person who is willing to do their job, without without having to be bribed....
I hope you find that person.
