Oxygen : PCP Airguns : NOT EVEN ONCE!

You can use the inerts like Nitrogen and Argon too although there is zero benefit over dry air. Whether it will be cost effective is another question

The difference is the dive cylinder will contain ordinary atmospheric air that has been filtered and dried and is suitable for breathing use.

The tanks for brazing are apt to contain acetylene and oxygen which are for a very specific purpose and not breathing use.

The best substance for use in a pre-charged airgun is air - the clue is even there in the name of the type of gun. The consequences of using a more reactive gas are amply demonstrated in the old Airgun World article posted by CK above.

Whilst it is possible to use the likes of nitrogen, there is no practical gain and likely a higher cost over ordinary breathing air.
