Default Weihrauch HW100S FAC- Factory setting for regulator pressure?

I bought my HW100S a couple of months past and been shooting (messing around) without a scope just to "run it in". The scope mount should hopefully arrive at my local post office tomorrow; it was mailed in the UK on the 27th of July! (No typing errors)

Meanwhile i had an adaptor machined for the regulated pressure port, so as to be able to verify and adjust the pressure being supplied to the barrel. Fitted the adaptor this afternoon and a gauge just to see what the factory set pressure is. I think 135 bar is a bit on the high side. Anybody here with knowledge of what the setting should be?

    Hello Marius

I've got a HW100 5.0mm and was told it was regulated at 120bar.
If I look at the fps change below 120bar it should be correct.

The adapter you machined can you share a pic I would like to do the test on my PCP as well.

    Thanks

120 is what the factory setting on the .177 normally is (on all those I have owned anyway).

    Try 110-115 as well.

Research before you strip the gun. One word... GRUBSCREW!

Make a note of the order of the spring washers too, if you decide to fiddle with the reg.

Below the pressure gauge connection port shown in the yellow square.
Make sure that you remove the air cylinder from the rifle before removing the 6 mm grub screw.
Behind the grub screw is a small ball.

I place a towel on my work surface to make sure small items do not "grow legs".

The filling adaptor (in brass) connected to the gauge port with a "mini mess" male and female quick connector.
I use the quick connector set to make my life easier, it is not essential.

Below the individual parts, being the -
    Seal (Bonded washer)
The port adaptor (Male M6 to female 1/8" BSP)
    The male quick connector

    Below all connected together.

90 bar for 4,5mm = 16 lb and 120 bar for 5 and 5.5mm which gives 22 to 30lb dependent on hammer spring.
had a few hw100 and only kept he 5 and 5,5mm . Have my own gauge too but its on a fitting not a long pipe

Eash way to confirm is that FPS should not spike ince your off regulator. If it goes up, your overpressure on the reg.
