    Default DIY Field Target butthook

Some time back I was looking for a butthook but these things are so scarse so I thought to myself, why dont I make my own one. Im fortunate to own a combination turning and milling machine with the apropriate tooling.
Here is my progress so far:

Really nice, out of interest - the fly-cutter - bought or homemade?

The fly-cutter was an asignment at my college Sol-tech. I decided to make another one to use at home. I had to turn it down to 16mm as the biggest collet I have at home is 16mm.

Thanks, was just curious. I have a small Adendorff mill/drill combo and I also made my own flycutter but not as nice as yours.
Back to the topic, nicely done again. Takes a lot of time to make all the small parts with details but quite satisfying in the end!!

It is 98% there. Still need to polish all the machining marks out but Im happy with the product. There is room for improvement as I will adress in good time.

    Looking Good!

Are you, or would you consider making a couple and selling them?

Not realy. The idea was never to sell them... I basicly made this from a plan in my head along with bits that I saw on other designs. I might make and sell but time and putting a price on something like that would not be apealing to people.
