Northcliff Air Rifle Range will be hosting a Bug Splat and Black Death Shoot on 10 December 2017

Here's what you need to know:

Shooters briefing and rules: 10am to 10.10am
Shoot offs: Between 3pm and 4pm with prize giving thereafter.
Entry fee: R30.00 Includes a bug splat and black death target. Thereafter shoot as many targets as you like at R10.00 a target.

    Distance: PCP - 30m, Springer - 20m

    Time: 12 minutes per relay

Please give us an indication of who intends shooting so that we have an idea of numbers.

We hope to see you all there, for a fun day of shooting and just a nice way to end off a long year before the Christmas holidays!!

    Kind regards

    Paul

    Black Death:
    1. Target can be found here (print it on A4) : https://www.airrifle.co.za/library/A...h_Modified.pdf
    2. You get 10 shots at a single BlackDeath piece of paper. You decide which of the targets you want to shoot at.
    3. Full score will be 100
    4. The inner black dot on any target counts as 10 points
    5. If you touch the black outer block with a shot that target gets eliminated and you loose all the points you would have made on that target. So if you shoot 5 shots inside the "10 points" target and shot #6 goes into the outer black block of the "10 points" target, you have zero points with only 4 shots left.

    BugSplat:
    1. Target can be found here (print it on A4) : https://www.airrifle.co.za/library/A..._Bug_Splat.pdf
    2. You get 10 shots at a single BugSplat piece of paper. The idea is to hit the bug inside the circle on each of the 10 bugs.
    3. Full score will be 50

You may not bring your own targets.

    1. OK, if you wear a dress then a) please shave your legs - last time was horrific and b) you can shoot with the girls
    2. Lauren has tried a few BD targets ... ask her how they went

That bug splat target is meant to be printed on A2 sized paper and will scale the target dimensions (1"/25mm rings) wholly wrong if printed to A4. (and is pixelated to hell and gone so nobody can see the rings)

I am in. Should be in town for a bit of R&R.
I heard the language after the Mini Mouse tried Black Death. So even if you wear a dress and shave your legs, she is going to out .........you as well.

Thanks Mike, will do. Why do you want the bug splat target in colour? It's going to massively increase the price and we need quite a few. The B&W last time worked well.

    Regards

Peeps please give an indication of whether you are attending or not. I know its only in December but it gives the boys a chance to plan.

Paul make them Black&White, goes with the Black Death theme. Anyway I cant see that far with out huge magnification so colour does not matter to me

You and your son are more than welcome. Both your rifles are fine and can be used. Just watch out for the locals, especially brightly dressed ones.
