Default Want to get PCP but have questions about refilling

    Hello,

I am interested in getting a Kral Puncher S but have a few questions about refilling. I would like to know what you guys recommend, a SCUBA or a hand pump? I weigh 66kg so I am not sure if I will be able to pump the puncher all the way to 200BAR. The only problem I have with SCUBA tanks at the moment is that it seems as if they are really expensive since the cheapest 10L 300BAR dive cylinder costs R5 100 and the gun itself costs me roughly R7 000. I also can not seem to find a place to buy a cylinder in Kempton Park.

I am 66kg as well and I have no problem pumping up some of my rifles up to 250 bar, all depends on the pump, in other hand, a cylinder is a much easier way to fill them.
Yes the price of the cylinders are high but look on the classified section, maybe you can find one the suits your pocket, remembering that, you might buy other rifles in the near future and the cylinder will become very handy and give you less trouble than a hand pump.
Keep in mind, the initial costs of a PCP rifle is a bit high, as it's not only the rifle, it is the filling kit as well, but once you have the kit you'll be sorted then it's a matter of buying the rifles and believe you me, after the first PCP rifle, you will want another.

Thank you! I did not see that. How many times can a 6L 300BAR fill a 230cc to 200BAR?

The hill pump is a good one, if I am not wrong, there is a member here that is a rep for them, sure he will sort something for you and yes it's a decent pump.

If you shoot a lot forget about a pump and go for a cylinder. I do not know of one person shooting FT or BR or do plinking at NC that uses a pump. Get a used one on the forum, be patient and wait for one or put a wanted post up.
