    Yes, just around the corner from Tippers Creek.

    I landed some nice elf under the highway bridge earlier this year, all between 40-45cm. Flippen tasty when fried fresh.

    The most exciting fish to catch in the river though is springer/skipjack. The speed on those fish is simply insane. And they grow well north a meter here...

    I have not had much luck with leeries. I frequently catch the smaller ones on fly and have lost two large fish. The other local lure anglers often land fish of 70-90cm and +110cm in the surf.
    Even the grunters grow massive here. Every May you see a few of 80-90cm come out. The regular sizes are good fun on the flats, they smash lipless surface lures like real predators. It is our version of sight-fishing.
