Default The 2018 New Airgun Products News Bulletin

We start pretty much in the same place as we did last year, SHOT Show 2018 is imminent - 23 January to 26 January - and there is sure to be some new airgun products on show.

The rumour mill is saying we can expect some new models from AirForce (multi shot perhaps?) , Daystate and Diana.

Closer to home we might see the official release of the Atom benchrest/field target platform from team James Mitchell. African Air Ordnance calibre change kits for the AirForce Texan will start international distribution in early January. The Veldt Sporter / HFT/ FT platform from Ratel Sporting Airguns is getting into full production mode so perhaps 2018 is the year of the ZA airgun.

I've always wondered why they called "universal" mounts? They aren't universal, here you have to get the right size for the specific scope tube diameter, the correct hight you want and 11mm or weaver/Picatinny/NATO. They are not "adjustable" to suite any and all these sizes. So can someone please tell me why they are called "universal"??

Yes, a new design concept. To make it work you need to be a card carrying SJW and have a surfeit of righteous indignation. I am surprised you didn't spot this, the California muzzle brake should have been the dead giveaway.

    Trigger weight of 2.5 - 4 lbs? Surely that's a printing error? That's a 1.1 - 1.8kg trigger pull .
