gamo ts-10 is very good with long range shooting. accuracy and penetration are superb.

boondock, no offence, but you will still penetrate that cap at about 200 yards, with a +-8gr, easy....

    Provided you hit it

Penetration at just under 100 meters is enough to drop a pigeon. My daughter had a lucky shot once and proved this.Maybe not at 200 put I'm sure any weight pellet will penetrate that plastic cap.I have shot the percussion cap out of a shot gun shell at 50meters and bent a 243 doppie almost double at that distance. Our rifles are damn powerfull @ 12Ft/lbs and we don't always realize it. It is suppose to be dangerous at 250 meters or something, Ii'm told.

Hey Boon, your eyesight must be pretty good, shooting with 4x scope @ that distances?

it's a 4x32 cheap scope at 60m. nice to see that cap been shot and bounced up 5m high then drop to ground.

actually my eyesight is only 0.8 which below the average level. but i think the good eyesight is not important for shooting sport. 2004 Olympic 10m air pistol world champion's eyesight only 0.1.

Boondock did your "exactly" test, and at 270 fps, with a air arms pellet, it went through 4/4 times.

I had a gamo P23 that i shot the gas out of till it read 270 pfs, then plucked 4 AA through it...
Think they just made it through thou....

i didnt shoot at the little probe knoppie thing that you bite when drinking... I know it wont go through there...

    settled?
