    Default Air rifle support

I'm refering specifically to the air rifle support on the guy's knee as shown in the picture.

    1. Are we (in SA FT) allowed to use something similar to support the air rifle on your knee while shooting in competition?

    2. Should it be fixed to the air rifle or does it not matter.

if that is not cheating then bipod should allow too.

the look of style is very funny to me. especially when u imagining that guy has to tie himself up first everytime b4 the shooting.... lol ....

just hope people are not dressed up like that to do hunting ...

    see www.saftaa.co.za
and NO it's not allowed, no shaped surfaces are allowed, also distance between centre of bore line and bottom of kneerest is max 150mm

That pic is probably a American shooter, in SA (and most other cases) the strappings are also not allowed.

Inside the privacy of your own home. Teasers, and some of the other places advertised on e TV after 10:30pm accepting credit cards also allow straps and other assisting devices.

A good rule of thumb is raincoats worn on sunny summer days, sunglasses at night, and large suitcases who's contents sound metalic.

    Bad day

Some guys actually put a pellet in the barrel before shooting, others blow down the barrel to establish if they did.
