Thread: Sticky Rubber Coatings does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello All,

    Mercury your advice re the Dischem alcohol worked just fine , all traces of sticky rubber coating has been removed without damaging the markings , but you were right , it does require quite a bit of finicky work.

    Sawbones , your alternative re the cornflower has been filed for possible future use.

    Thanks again to all for helping me out.

    I never got around to getting my Ham license , but at one time I was able to send and receive CW (Morse Code) at a slow pace ,perhaps I should have another go.

    What is that Afrikaans saying--"van uitstel kom afstel".
