Default Which 5.5mm springer to buy?

I'm looking to buy 5.5mm calibre springer so far my favourite option is the gamo socom bull whisper, although the gamo magnum igt seems very tempting but I don't know if it's worth the extra 2000 on the price. I want the most powerful gun possible that can maintain decent grouping. I have no experience in 5.5mm so any advice will be much appreciated.
    Thanks

Another question I have is what scope would work the best on a 5.5mm springer as I've heard they scope killers?

    Kuber's advice is sound.

Rather wait, save the extra money and buy quality instead of rushing into buying cheap crap.

Another rifle of good quality is the Walther Century.

If that GR1600 is anything like my GS1250, you're going to grow arms like Popeye, go deaf, dislocate your shoulder and go through scopes at least once a week. They're quite literally the illegitimate love child of a sabre tooth honey badger and a .22 rimfire rifle.

A powerful, accurate, pleasant-to-shoot 5.5mm springer SIMPLY DOES NOT EXIST. Make peace with this fact.

Spare yourself frustration and moola - get a quality 4.5mm springer. 12 ft lbs preferably, slightly higher if you really must. Learn to shoot it properly. There is more than sufficient energy to accomplish any task an air rifle should be applied for up to ~50m. No place for a springer beyond that in any case for anything except paper punching and plinking (maybe with the exception of a few springer specialists on this forum).
Later on, get a 5.0mm springer - just to have something different.

Just because you haven't had experience with a properly set up rifle such as an HW80 in 5.5mm does not mean it doesn't exist - perhaps you should make peace with that fact.

Ok, ok. I should have added: "...and within the mentioned budget range."

Well I already have 4.5mm springers including 1 I'm very happy with... so I'm specifically looking for a 5.5, the g-magnum shoots 844 fps with 16 grain pellets. My only concern is the scope killing factor - surely scopes have been designed to last on 5.5 springers?
