Default Converting a CO2 air rifle into a pcp

Ok today I was buying co2 bottles for my co2 rifle and the owner of the gun shop told me about another client with the same rifle that he converted into a pcp by adding a paint ball guns bottle and some type of adaptor... any thoughts? Has anyone heard of it being done. And how would you do it?

Im sure there is a reason manufactures make a cheaper co2 vs pcp version of their rifles...Ulrich's post amazed me as to how blind we all are when it come to having your "gunsmith" work on your rifles.
    As for the cr600:
    Paintball air tank R799
    Remote line R550-ish
But now thats all extensions to your rifle and not a permanent fixture to the gun. So you have to be at a table with all these connected and shooting.
Check around with air rifle gunsmiths and their advice on converting current tank on your rifle. Bear in mind what ulrich said

You can not convert CO2 to PCP, you can however convert to HPA.
To convert CO2 to PCP you need to rebuild the bottom air tube.
Cheaper to sell and buy the PR900W PCP model.

    Cheers

    Do not do this.

It is an accident just waiting to happen.

What kind of tuning can be done to increase a co2 rifle like mine's power? Not a dramatic change but at least get it up to 12fpe

I am not an expert on CO2 tuning, but there is a perfect balance you need to fined between hammer weight, hammer spring tension, popet travel and dwel, air flow from air chamber throug transfer port to barrel.
QB79 is an good example to read up on, mine were running low 650 fps, also wanted more so the search began, modding followed.
With the 9oz tank original at 650 fps I had around 400 shots, after modding poppet tension, hammer tension, new transfer port numerace veriations I reached a max 770fps with 8.44 jsb 4.53 and droped my shot count to 200.
If you decide to go HPA it should run at higher fps, again but you still need to mod all of the above mentioned to fined perfect balance to be consistent and economical otherwise you might not get maximum effectiveness.

    Cheers
