    Default AA S510

    Scrounged this from: http://www.airarmsownersclub.com/vie...php?f=2&t=8924

Guy mailed AA inquiring about new 410K models. This was response:

"We would not supply directly, so you would need to contact your local
dealer. The S410 Carbine version will be available in the next few
weeks with the Side Lever cocking mechanism instead of the traditional
bolt. It also has a shrouded barrel and sleeker stock and will be
    marketed as the S510
    ."

Mmm, so 12fpe ERB. Nothing to really hold breath about, though the shroud on the carbine is nice too. I'm more excited about the "sleeker" stock (Hoping it'll be slimmer and have better ergo's).

    Importer: Can you confirm this?

it think air arms has "made" this model to compete aigainst the daystate huntsman...the trend is definatelly towards PCP's that look like normal rifles...

I have seen versions like these (normal bolt action) for sale in the US for some time. As they are not allowed silencers, shrouds are very popular.

I am aware of the new rifle but have not yet had pricing. Bill Sanders has indicated to me that it would be more expensive than the Std S400/S410 range. I will let the forum know when I have more detailed information.

The new ERB side levers are the forrunner of this model series.

    FYI:

Here's one initial review with pics (including comparison to previous S410 Carbine):

Can the side lever be de-cocked like the bolt action?

Now that my old S400 is a collectors item I better look after it.

I have no experience with the S410 so hence the question. Won't you double load when you cock again and have just previously decocked the rifle with the magazine in (like on the HW100)?

Will this also be available as a S500 single shot action?
