    Default Leaky pistol

    Hi I have a Artemis pp700-SA pistol its leaking at the filling port the gun came with extra O-rings but I have no idea how to field strip it,any help would be highly appreciated thanks

    I suspect that the tiny o ring on the fill valve side has perished .

    Stick a same size rod / drill bit in the fill probe hole and unscrew the fill end housing.

    Remember to empty the cylinder beforehand.!!


    The o ring should be visible as well as the large diameter screw thread one.

    Replace all in sight.

    It could do no harm to unscrew the gauge (tool supplied with pistol) and replace the o ring under the gauge as well.

    As word of advice- go slow on the fill as the the heat transfer is directed mainly on the tiny fill o ring thus impacting on its lifespan.

    Quickest way to degas the cylinder is unscrew the pressure guage

    Don't tighten screw 36 down too tight. It has a machined slot in it to let the air through and this can shave slivers of aluminium off that will cause it to leak again and again. I learned the hard way with my P15 which has the same screw.
