Default How to determine mildot holdover or mildot adjustment for different ranges

Does anyone has any references on how to calculate this?
(Not referring to Chairgun, or Strelok)

It becomes very interesting when you see this on a scope:
    "
    • 1/4 MOA (1/4" click value @ 100 yds)
    • Mil-dot reticle

MOA and Mil-dot are two different measurement methods.

I agree mil dot and moa are different units!... Therefore never buy a scope with moa turrets and a mil dot reticle!
