    Default Silencer for LGV

    hi,

Recently posted on wanted board for under lever, LGU or HW97. but found a LGV challenger already on sale which is not under lever but... why not give a try.
so I got it in no time, received it today.

it says on the box "the sound of silence" and "super silent technology" but it's pretty loud to my ears lol
I tried with weihrauch silencer, it's certainly better but don't like look of the cone mount.

so my question is, is there any silencer/suppressor available locally that works and has flat mount(so it can be flush mounted to the polymer sight) ?
    appreciate your help.

    thank you

I have one, a Tula, but it screws over the barrel, you going to have to remove the plastic front sight. It makes the rifle look better in any case.

Give Jaco a call at Extreme Airguns, he has some awesome looking carbon fiber ones that work well.

Yes, while you are there get your LGV lube tuned by him, whatever you do, do not shoot with his LGV.......
    Or the P15
    Or his CZ

Tula is compact and works great on my LGV.

Just bear in mind that a silencer on a spring rifle is only going to tame the muzzle noise.

It is going to do nothing about the sound of the power plant in operation which is pretty much right next to your ear.

The LGV is pretty refined in terms of action noise, but it will always sound louder to the shooter.

To see how effective the refined action and the silencer is, get someone else to shoot the rifle and stand a short distance away - no not directly in front of it - you should notice a difference between with and without the silencer fitted.

That LGV of his is the reason I bought mine.
We tried his CZ silencer on the LGV and oh man it was dead quiet

I would suggest a walther/umarex k3 silencer. I have two, and they are whisper quiet, every bit as good as the likes of weihrauch, AA and other top self brands. I got mine from pellet-guns.com @R650. Only problem is that their prices have shot up to R1100. So yes, they excellent silencers, but maybe you can get something a bit cheaper.

got the rifle back last weekend, now it's 100%! very happy.
seems like tigger setting was the issue.
good to know it has the mze trigger.

    thank you all!
