Default lighten up LGU ball detent ?

    Hi all,

I've been searching this for hours but no luck with it(maybe its just me?), hope someone can help.
I feel that the ball detent which holds the cocking lever in place is somewhat tight,
is it possible to lighten it up a bit? a drop of oil didn't work.

    thank you

The ball pressure is held by a spring as far as i now so a softer one would be the only way to go

No unfortunately not. Just be aware with alighter spring you run the risk of the cocking arm popping out.

You might not like the solution I used, see in my for sale post for the LGU - I used a 3D printed part to get around the ball detent issue, and I like the positive action of it. Its visible in the photos here:

I also printed the front part, and kept the original steel bits.. The plastic was sanded down with a fine sand paper and looks good.

not sure this is going to work, just pushed it all the way in with clamp like the pic.
I'll leave it for a day then check if the spring inside lose tension a bit...
