Default Scope rings, mounting issue on Kral PCP

I got myself a Kral Puncher Jumbo yesterday. Now I an busy fitting a scope on it. I see it's got an integrated Weaver/dovetail mount. What a great idea. Now the problem is neigther my cheap or expensive mounts wants to clamp down like they should. Without trying I can slide the mounts of the rails. Is there a known issue with the dovetail mounting system on this brand or particular rifle? The only Weaver rings I own is currently in use on my .22 powder burner. I do not want to take them off to test since I did not need to re-zero that rifle for years. So it's going to stay put.
I am prepared to go and buy some Weaver mounts but what if they do not fit as well?

    1. Dovetail and weaver are 2 different mounting mechanisms / sizes.
    2. Dovetail comes in 2 different sizes - 11mm and 13mm (IIRC).

Which rail does your gun actually have? I would assume it has an 11mm dovetail rail.

It's got both. You can mount dovetail or Weaver. I believe the Krals dovetail must be 11mm. It's a first for me that one rifle can take both, but this one does.

Sounds as if they have system similar to the current Ruger 10-22 factory scope rail which combine a dovetail and weaver mounting option:

To the OP, just go and get some Weaver rings rather than messing with the dovetails.
