Pretty much in line with niche JSB pellets

    Polymags .30 R226 for 100
Diabolo Exact King Heavy .25 R240 for 300
    Exact premium diabolo .177 R234 for 200

"Normal" Jsb's are averaging at around 50c per pellet
All I care about is benchrest shooting
... and maybe like 3 people
    AND PIZZA

They very very expensive. I think 100 in a box. Thats R4-40 a slug. Its not for the 50meter shooting though, better off with pellets. It's more for long range shooting. H&N slugs might be the cheaper option once they in production. This year pyramidair cup, test pellet slugs were given to try. They done well. Now for the factory to start production

Hi Guys, dumb question, I have 2 x pcp's Daystate Pulsar and Kral Nemesis, I have been following various content producers on Youtube and seeing many of the shooting slugs in their FX impacts but with barrels/liners specifically designed for slugs. Still when i got to a shop the other day the salesman wanted to sell me slugs for my guns. my question is whether they will work in my guns as the barrels where not designed for slugs?

Question is: Why would you want to shoot slugs in you Daystate?
Don't know the Nemesis. Why shoot slugs in the standard 4.5, 5.00, 5.50 anyway?

you can shoot slugs and pellet out of any barrel, it will depend on two things 1) optimal speed of the slugs, as they are more accurate at higher speeds (930fps) 2) accuracy, the specific slugs barrels at correct speeds offer better results with slugs than a non slug barrel at same speeds.

I have shot 26gram slugs using the Red Wolf Hp and the same slugs in the Impact MK2 with a slug liner, the differences are marginal to 50m, over 50m the MK2 steps up to the plate.

Slugs are more stabilised by spin than drag. Pellets the opposite. So dedicated pellet barrels usually have a slower twist rate than would be ideal for slugs. Pellet barrels sometimes have a bit of choke too. The narrow ridge at the head and the thin soft skirt of a waisted pellet can accomodate some choke but a slug may not work so well in a choked barrel.

Your rifle might work well with both but not likely
