You will not easily find parts locally for Baikal. It's probably easier to buy a new MP-61 than playing Russian roulette with international shipping.

Mmm yeah. I do find it odd that you can purchase it here but noone stocks spares for it. I suppose it largely depends on the importers though and what they bring in as to what's available. It's a fun little gun so I might tinker with cutting down a similar spring. It has a 20mm main spring which I'm sure is available else where. The seal ares the difficult part to get. Might just have to bite the ebay bullet... Sigh

In terms of a spring just substitute a spring with the same O/D & I/D, wire thickness and number of coils.

In terms of seals, if o-rings substitute others of the same spec.

If piston seal, what is already fitted? Will something else fit in its place?

well the spec of the main spring is
Wire of 2,5 mm (0.098 in)
Diameter is 19,65 mm (0.77 in)
    Inside diameter is 14.5 mm
Length is 230 mm (9.06 in)
    32 rounds
anyone know where I can get decent springs? I can cut the length to suit
