    Default Is one mount enough?

I bought a Hawke red dot for my Webley Allecto pistol. There is just one slot on the whole weaver rail. So I can mount the red dot with only one mount. Should it be fine? Or can I cut another slot? I am just scared I mess it up since you use the frame to cock the pistol. Cutting another slot may weaken the frame too much?

I used one mount on my CP1 and it was perfectly fine.

Thanks Blue. I must say it's small and light.
So the fact that the Alecto slaps to charge will not really be a problem? On the CP1, it does not really gets slapped around

The CP1 is a CO2 pistol. No vigorous loading process.

Try with one. If it works, you have your answer.
