    Default British Junior International 2008

A large contingent of South African shooters scholars and juniors are in England at Bisley to compete in this annual event.

SANSSU won this event in 2007.The first competition starts in a few hours time.

Ex SANSSU shooter Esmari van Reenen is in South Korea with the Olympic Team in preparation. She is practising with the USA team and is in top form

Good luck to all of them!

Mike, please pass on SAFTAA's congratulations to all shooters from South Africa that performed so well!

By the way, who are the MPM participants and teams - any relations?

    Thanks Johan,

We have won so many medals I have lost count but yesterday at the British Sporter Air Rifle Championships we won all the individual medals bar one silver.

For many years Mpumalanga has entered on their own and some of them shoot .22 as well. SANSSU however have first choice and some of them are in the SANSSU contingent ---strong province!

The Martin Potgieter is no relation of mine, the only trait we share is ability!!!

The province goes regardless and if their members make the national squad they withdraw from the province and only represent the national squd.

After the shoot they tour the UK and sometimes visit Europe.

Target shooting at schools is also about Youth Enrichment6>

Re; Martin Potgieter is no relation ... "the only trait we share is ability."
One of the two Potgieters seems to have only modesty in common. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, perfect in every way....tra la la la Ha ha ha. You see MMP, that is how it is done, just go for it, stir, hi-jack the threads, don’t fear, you will be forgiven in the end. Never, or very seldom apologise, it makes you look weak. LOL
