Piece of advice. Don't use metal rods to push slugs down the barrel to determine diameter. Had a slugliner come in with a chip on the crown. Sent images to the FX crew, responded by saying user error.
Careful what you use to push a pellet/slug down a barrel

I have always stuck to a brass brazing rod for lapping or any requirements in the barrel, best with a muzzle protector if pressing from the muzzle. The metal cleaning rods can and do cause damage.
