Default Note to all the guys who shoot with us in Kuilsriver

Just quick note to all the guys who normally shoot with us, and to those who want to in the future.

The piece of land we shoot on is PRIVATE PROPERTY. The law is laid down by the landowner, and it is NON NEGOTIABLE.

We don't want to loose the place we shoot at, so take note of the following:

    (1) Anyone taking a shot at the pigs, goats, dogs or cows is looking for a PK.
    (2) You can hunt starlings and crows, providing you can shoot good enough for a humane kill. He don't want injured bird flopping around.
    (3) Ferral pigeons, may only be shot if you are certain that his racing pigeons are not among them. Some of those birds cost over R18000, so be carefull.
    (4) If you kill anything else, you eat it. He does it that way, and anyone else have to as well. If you don't want to eat it, it is your responsibility to clean it and give it to somebody who is going to take it, even if it is one of the farmworkers. No wasting!

Sh1t, R18k for a bird!!!!!!! It should be kept in a gold plated cage with 10 security guards protecting it. What does a R18k bird eat?

I also think it is just stupid to pay that much for a bird.
If you don't know what a PK is you were probably never in the army.

WTF... when did you all become comedians?

If it has a ring on it's leg, get the chequebook.
For starters, it helps not to shoot the white pigeons. Very few wild ferals are white.
From what I've seen, the racing pigeons are normally the bigger ones in the flock.

You would not easily find a R18000 pigeon amongst the commons sitting around on the farm. Even if was worth three times that the owner will wring it's neck if he knows anything about flying pigeons and he finds it siting around like that. It is worthless to him. They also crap on anything and everything and is still a flying rat, no matter how much they cost.
