    Hi Ryan,

It all depends on what sport you want to do. 10m, FT etc. If you want to do FT then you have to get s scope. The Lynx or Nikko Stirling 10-50x60 is a very popular choice.

By the way, where did you buy the rifle? Do you know if it's setup for 12ft/lbs?

Where are you located? We need to put it over a chronograph to see what the velocities are like. Also, if you are serious about taking up the sport of FT, you will need a descent scope.

If I'm right, your rifle comes from the factory set at 7.5 Joules, which is about 6 ft/lbs. What did the previous owner use the rifle for?

If you have a 10m rifle we might be able to do a deal to swop for a FT rifle if you prefer that option?

Unfortunately that rifle is known to be a piece of junk so I'll do you a favour and swop you a FULLY scoped (top of the range 4 X 32 Simmons) Gamo hunter for your Walther.

No need to thank me, just think of it as one good person helping another ( I'll even pay postage)

Can't do, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that you got the bad end of the deal.

I may be of Scottish descent, but still have morals, allthough I'm sure some would disagree.

Now I'm no gun expert but:
Walther LG300 XT Alutec Air Rifle new is about 1,636.00. That equals to about R23227.

Dunno what they depreciate at, but even if it is at 50%, that Walther is still worth around R10000.

I can get you a brand new out of the box Gamo 440 Hunter with a 3-9x40 scope, and 250 gamo pellets just for fun, for around R2250.

Now call me Sally or whatever you'll like, but that doesn't seem right.

Maybe I should trade in my Gecado Mod27, a new EV would be nice...

Swako, or can I call you Sally,

There you go trying to rip poor Ryan off by trying to trade your Gecado with him.

I would have thrown in 500, yes, 500 pellets with the deal.
