I just need some clarification.
There's a Gamo Extreme Co2 being sold on bidorbuy.co.za. My question is the following: Is it a .177 like the seller is claiming? I'm asking because on gamo's website it seems they are only made in .22 calibre....
Not worth the money spent.
Got one took it to the farm, to try out
Nice handling but real crappy trigger.
Fired about two pelletts and the third would literally fall out the barrel. One could see it the pellett on its way to the target.
Thought it may be a faulty cylinder (88g co2) so swapped, still no better, then thought it may be freezing not so, took ages once pumped for co2 to build up enough pressure. Perhaps due to low pressure pelletts also fell from the mag into the inner parts and rattled around. Disassembling the rifle I removed the pelletts and problem still not solved so took it back to retailer. At retailer they tested it and it would not even fire three dry shots so they swapped it out.
It now fires well, with no problems.
Nice handling, gets approx 300 shots to a co2 cannister, no need to refill for a while.
Not accurate groupng at all, at 30m, was using gamo pro hunters, did not try other pelletts which may well have improved accuracy.
