Default Big HI from a small Island!

Just a quick post to say Hi & introduce myself to you all.
I'm a British FT shooter & have joined this Forum with next years Worlds very much on my mind. Those of you in the SA team may remember me from Northern Island as the bloke who insisted on a team photo of you all.
Cheers & Good shooting to each of you.

    Thanks all, for the welcome.
Are there any competitions happening now in SA? I'd love to see some pics of an SA FT Course.

Hello mate. I've been digesting the photos SWAKO posted above. That looked like a HARD Course! The way one or two of the Competitors were trying valiantly to make height, I don't know if it was a trick of perspective but it looked a long average range Course to my eyes as well.
One or two of our Team will have to re-think the whole heavy jacket thing but if I may confess, the thing that came to mind as I looked at the rocky landscape was........I know this makes seem like a Wus ........Scorpions, BIG spiders & snakes!!!!!!!
I think one of those young ladies would have to accompany me around the Course with a big stick, I'll definitely be wearing cycle clips!

Baltipal ! You are a wus it would seem

We dont have BIG spiders just small unfriendly ones

Sure we have creepy crauly thing around but they are as scared of you so you dont see them.

We have a few wild Baboons on that range. They dont hang around once the guns come out.

Sorry to say there is no trick perspective shot.

I am the fatty in the team and believe me quite a few of the sitters I opted to kneel because i could not breath.Yes you are right it was a long average.

I asked for my money back but the buggers held on to it

    YOU WANNA BET!!!!!
It comes from living somewhere, where all the really dangerous things have been slaughtered, I suppose.
My mate Tommy, who emigrated out to your Country with his family as a kid, tells a story that sends a shudder down my spine when ever I think of it. It involves a Sunday afternoon stroll by the river, stopping in the shade of a tree & something called a Baboon Spider dropping onto his Mother's back!
Now, if that were to happen to me I'd start running & not stop till I got to the outskirts of Brumagem!
Seriously though, I imagine the biggest problem you might find over there would be the heat affecting the scope, would I be right?
