Went hunting last night and did not have gloves. Fingers were so cold that I couldn't shoot properly.
Where can I get good shooting gloves? (Trigger finger must be able to "open&quot.

TS had some last month when I was also looking at them. Can't remember the price though sorry. Your fingers slipped out of the cover iirc.

if it's those "professional" shooting glove........ie anschuts/top grip types, i think AA can source them.

for warmth come hunting/camo types........i got these sniper africa ones......not open finger though, but i suppose one can just cut off the section.

or maybe try those neoprene/rubber dots fly-finishing (i assume) gloves, i've seen them with open trigger finger/thumb design.......

is there any negative effects on the rifle itself while shooting in these kind of cold temperatures?

Rifle just seems to be very heavy and you cand keep it still. There might be a slight POI change, but was shaking to much to notice it.

at wolwehoek (sunday), i think i might have made the mistake of not allowing the rig to "equalize" before zero check..........as i observed POI shift of 1/2 MOA @ 20/25m to 2 MOA out to 50m.

From what I've read lately on the UK forums it seems that scopes are more susceptable to tempreture change that the actual rifle.

must say that the days havnt been so cold this year and sighting it in at round 20 degrees+ and then shooting at 3 degrees must have some effect on the expanding and contracting of the metal. anyone going to the outdoor expo?
