    Default Tuning Guides/Info?

    Hey guys,

I am wanting to take apart, and look at my Gamo S1K these December holidays. Its starting to sound kinda.... strained when I load it. Any websites that I should visit that has detailed info about tuning up a springer? I don't want to send it off to a gunsmith because I always have to know what the inside of my toys look like.

    Thanks fellas

Hi Patrick, having not owned a shadow I believe the powerplant between the CFX and the Shadow is the same. I would suggest you search the net a bit.. There are loads of info in the CFX. They will pretty much be duplicated for the shadow.

Below is an entry from a previous post which refers to parts and a basic Gamo clone tuning guide on CDT's website.

Remember you will require a spring compressor to safely remove the spring.
I uploaded a few pic's in my album, of a complicated one I built a while ago.

There are a few simpler examples available on the web.(Remember google is your friend)

    Cheers

just recieved a mail from the legend CharlieDaTuna, which reads:

The Gamo CF-30 uses the same spring and seal as almost all other Gamo's. Nobody makes a true tune kit for it but you can order the parts from Jim Maccari.

    Maccari: http://www.airguns.citymax.com/page/page/251327.htm

    Maccari Parts for Gamo

Spring: E-3650 Prod. Code: E3650 (this is a drop in spring)
Apex Seal: Prod. Code: APV 65798
    Heavy Tar: Prod. Code: LHT432
    Moly Paste: Prod. Code: MM657

There is a basic tune guide on my website here:
