    Default Winter League 6 Crossguns in the UK

    The last League Comp of the year took place today at this new venue. I've only shot here once before, for a non-competition Sunday shoot.
    I had my doubts that a Ground this size would be able to carry a Comp but with the aid of some MFTA FT veterans a Course was laid out that made the most of the available space. No one shooting on top of another station & with plenty of long, low & close targets to add variety.
    It was by no means an easy Course but it was a high scoring one with a wealth of Shooters getting within 3 Targets of 30 but still with no clearances, top score being 29.
    I put in a 24 which I am well pleased with but tempered by several targets that I threw away due to poor trigger control or rushing the shot.
    Here are a few photo's to give a taste of a very satisfying day;

    Nice .

    We have had 4 shoots of our winter FT league . Next one in early january .

    Next big comp in our parts is the Quarry Hunters winter extreme HFT on 28 December.

    Thats a serious hard one, far out reducers, swop hands, left if you are right handed etc.

    Use your partners rifle for a target .....................

    Its a fun shoot , to end the year and get your mind over the christmas dinner !
