    hello all

I am new to this whole area and a friend said I should visit this page. I went to a range not too long ago with this friend and he has some trouble "killing" a few of the targets with the 18mil kill zone while sitting. I came along and killed thos targets with one or two shot while standing. This is the reason why my friend said I should visit this page and find out more info on comps and that type of thing. BTW I have not fired a weapon for about 5 years before that.

A bit more about myself. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science (BSc) at wits and I fly rc planes fairly often. I am also starting to learn to play the bagpipes and yeah gonna start to go shooting with my friend every now and then

Welcome! I always great to hear about new shooters interested in joining us. Like Alan said swing by the 27Dec shoot and bring your friend along. Everybody irrespective of skill level has lots of fun at these events. Oh, did I mention, you don't have to bring you badpipes along

The shoot will take place at the Rand Water Board range in Alberton. Look under Club Activities for the details.

ha ha mac if that happens then it will really sound like something you never have and never will wanna hear. If not played properly it is a DREADFUL sound but played properly it is the most awesom instrument out there (never mind the complexity of the notes)

    thanks johan will do so
