Default Nelson Field Target 4 January 09

We had a small club comp today . No rain , not too much wind .

A bit cold though, snow & sleet, not heavy thank goodness .

    About 40 shooters .

25 targets, shoot 25 hand in card , go and shoot them again with the "B" card.

Most of us had a bad second round , cold was starting to really bite .

It was minus 6 at 9:00 am !!

Its a whole different thing shooting in this cold, you have to basically add on about 5 yards when you range find .

Hands ? even with gloves, so cold , its a strain to load the little pellets.

Any way , its back to work again tomorow .................

The only thing in those pics giving away that it was very cold is the warmly dressed shooters. Very misleading if you don't know how cold it can get.

Carry a gas heater with you
