I'd like to know too. I want to make spring guides and top hats. Does anyone know if vesconite has the right properties for guides and top hats?

    Well...

The hookers on Point Road in Durbs all have Vesconite bushes and rod guides, and I hear they are very happy with them. They never seem to be wearing their top hats.

Is this the reason, why you couldn't do any minahs while in KZN? We see now what you've been busy with

Vesconite would be great for spring guides, and machines very nicely. I used it plenty when making bushes for sports cars.

I want to make a hamster. The one in the pick is described as black delrin and post from ali.

Looking at the site mentioned I don't see the word delrin. Suppose it has a different product name? They have listed Acetal etc. Which should I be looking at.

From wikipedia the proper name is Polyoxymethylene. Delrin is the brand name by DuPont.
Also known as acetal resin and other names.
Am I right to assume I must look at Acetal listed under Engineering - General purpose?

Because you are too stuck up shooting PCP. You should get your springers out of the closet more often. Maccari and V-Mach do delrin buttons for the piston on order to slide more smoothly.

Vesco is a Welkom based manufacturer and they have a distributor in the Benrose area and should be able to match Delrin which is a brand name of DUPONT.

Cape Plastics stock Poly Acetal. Machines beautifully. Is aparently used in truck gearboxes. Isn't Delrin a type of self lubricating Nylon?
