Falcon, I have tried to get a spot in the Kraaifontein shooting range area but the ground are soaking wet, even after the five days sun we had last week. PLEASE give me a call (082 5694 536) as I would like to get more info from you before I phone the Colonel.

Also obtained the Chairman from Durbanville shooting range tel number today. Will give him a call tonight.

1st Intn'tl Bisley post league shot at Emerald Casino in Vanderbijlpark aginst the USA. Waiting for final results. The open had 800 squaddings and all participants were kids from 9-18. Now that is the future of shooting in this country!

    Stoffeltoo,
One of the biggest problem with the shooting sport in SA is that the events are treated as a National Secret and kept under wraps untill it is too late to do anything. It seems that the governing bodies, and I will not mention names, are too secretive and it seems that you have to be connected if you want to join in their fun. Looking fron the outside it seems to me that you can only join the shooting fraternity on invetation. Just my view from experiance.
