    Default Relum Super Jelly refrain

One of my friends just brought his old gun to me.
    It is a "Super Telly/Jelly"
I know this was discussed last year but this one has a badge on it and I thought it would be of interest to the previous posters.

The rear sight is broken on the gun and we would like to fix it. I will ask our local expert (Farmer) but if anyone else has advice for us, please feel free and let us know.

Ive got 2 of those and one of the small "neck Break" guns which I am refurbishing. Danie van Rensburg should have sights.

I have just found a bit more on the Relum guns, actually Hungarian and the "J" of Telly is the Hungarian "T". The Telly has a cousin called Tornado, with under lever cocking.

Thanks for the help folks we will get a rear sight one way or the other and get this prety good example spick and span in no time.

I gave my Tornado to my nephew. I still have access to it if you need pics. It had the exact same rear sight as the Telly.

Thanks Ou, I found a couple of pictures on a UK forum. Also a line drawing from Chambers there the price quoted for a new sight is out of my lads budget (nearly 12 pounds) I am pretty sure we can either make something or figure out some scope mounting scheme. I have a spare scope which I can donate to him then and I bet he will do really well with that. As it is, he was still picking off our Cape mini-EAI (starling) from his backyard with great precision. He used to be a policeman who had to quit due to his marksmanship. He salivated a Cape Flats Gangster (regrettably he only aimed to wing him) , subsequently several members of his family were either attacked or (the females) terrorised so he had to quit and basically disappear. He now works for me as a driver, an absolutely first class chap and a dead shot with his old springer!
We will report back in due course.

    Trevor, check your mail....

I'm sure we can do something with it, I've fixed quite a few of them before.
