im also interested in what the prices are here, but dont worry not thinking of changing my gun just yet!

i have seen in the AGW magazine that a walnut stock for an s400 only cost 45 pounds extra!so why does it cost something like 3K to buy one seperatly here?

the 45 quid is the price difference between walnut and beech stock. so when you buy a walnut stock seperately, you are essentially paying 45 quid plus the price of a beech stock.

TS has it for ~R13K. They want R2500 for thumbhole stock for AA S400. Goes for 130 quid in UK. Yes it is an upgrade but doesn't explain why so much more here

If I were to buy a stock I am sure that your price of GBP 215 would be right but right now I don't have a gun so would want to order the nice new AAS400 with a TH stock. To my mind this should cost about R1500 more and I get the gun with only one stock. The scenario you are painting gives me the gun with 2 stocks.
