    Default New S400 Classic

At last got my S400 Classic yesterday. Very nice, and I like the idea that it has a safety. Haven?t had the chance to crono it yet, but does any body have an idea what these rifles launch their pellets at out of the box? Also the trigger will need some work as well.

    Cheers

Where did you but it and how much if that's not too rude a question?

Out the box you are looking in the range of 11ft/lbs to 12ft/lbs, but rather test and fine tune yourself

    I'd wager more towards 10 - 10.5 ft/lbs.

What kind of chequering is on the new rifle Neal?
Nothing like a new rifle to boost the shooting addiction.

It still has the old chequering not the new shapes like I have seen on some of the UK sights, but none the less I think that the quality of the chequering is very good. It just feels like a reel gun when you hold it. As for the quality of shooting, my 200T is a accurate rifle and up to lets say 20-25m I got the same groupings but the ability of the S400 to group well up to 50m is much, much better than the 200t.

Neal, I have send you a test that I have done on my S400 rifle, just out of the box without any adjustments, over a spread of 180 shots, enjoy.
