The CFX is a real PAIN to load...that loading port must be the worst design I have ever encountered...otherwise it is a pretty nice rifle.
The BAM 40 is a big unknown entity regarding quality...I have read differing reports, be careful.

I agree with Guido. Was seriously (still very possibly) looking at a CFX, have had a loan one for the past two weeks & the loading port can really work on ones nerves (would hate to struggle with it during a 2 minute lane at a HFT shoot) but otherwise a pretty damn accurate rifle.

Will definitely add the B40 onto my "investigate" list however.

If the BAM40 is half as good as the gun it was copied from (TX200) it will be much better than the CFX.
I still wanne get a TX200 HC, or should I say a clone ... only time will tell !

If Bill Sanders at Air Arms in the UK is correct then the B40 is only about half as good as the TX200.

Ok, let's put the question in another way. Lets say the B40 is only 50% of the TX200... can you buy anything better (springers only ) for under R1500 ?
