    Default Bean Bag Restrictions?

Are there any restrictions on the bean bag (seating) that we can use, size, what it is made of, and height?

AFA I know you can have it made of what ever you want. There is a restriction about the height though, but I don't remeber what it is. Check the rules on the saftaa web page. There are some guys that like to complain about the height of the seat, why I don't quite know, because you only disadvantage yourself. If you sit too high you can't assume a proper FT shooting position. Try it, you'll ll see. :O

    taken from SAFTAA..............

"The use of a seat is allowed; the maximum height for any form of seating is 127mm (5 inches), including any backrest. The seat may be used as an aid to sitting or kneeling shots. Variations on this rule may be applied at the discretion of the event organiser in recognition of a competitor's disability, providing that no unfair advantage is gained. The method for measuring the seat is by passing it through a opening of 127mm X 400mm made of 20mm press wood board or similar."
