    Default Trajectory plot

Here's a compiled pic with a graphic I did this afternoon to illustrate pellet trajectory. Done with SS S510, AA Fields 8.44gr, and Oryx scope ranging at 30X and shooting at 30X. 5 shot groupings.

I wanted to take it out to 50m, but I got lazy and it's very windy.

So if I understand the use of the Turret (that's on my new scope I bought from Tomcat), all I'd need to do is to turn the Turret up if I know the EAI is sitting at 35m to get the same point of impact at 35m than the one that I had at 25m?

The alternative is to know how to shoot wiff mildots?

Yes, but you need to shoot it first to know how much you need to turn up the turret. Do it on all the distances and mark it on the turret. Then use the adjustable optics to range-find et voila.

What's your zero on that Ou Van? With my S400 zero'd at 30m, I think I get a pretty flat trajectory. I'm sure lower at 10 meters, maybe 15mm, then +-5mm at 15 meters, then flat from 17meters to 37 meters. I guess that was probably done on high power though with CP 10,5's, so not really a comparison...

dont turn your turret laddy. aim off using mildots. turret turning if for target shooting not for trading

Mildots are for sissies. Turn the turret . As far as it will go. That's what it's there for.

My zero is at 25m, so when the target is further I hold over using the mildots. No time for turning turrets when I'm doing what I'm doing.
